Virtual Gallery: K.O. Lewis
K.O. Lewis of Lewis Acrylics is a proud Black artist here in Owensboro. He is originally from Louisville but found a new home in Owensboro when he attended college at Kentucky Wesleyan College. He is a contemporary expressionism portrait artist whose favorite subject matter is iconic Black leaders and other social justice activists. In the process of painting, he typically mixes acrylics and oils to create the final portrait. Adding the subject’s own words has become a signature touch in his work.

We’re In This Together Collaborative Chalk Art Project
Even though we're enjoying this year's festival "distanced" from one another, we can still come together to create something beautiful. Sidewalk chalk art is a way we can beautify our neighborhood and send messages of hope to one another in a safe way.
