Worship

Come find worship that engages the heart and the mind.

Worship at First Presbyterian Church follows in the Reformed tradition, engaging the soul and the spirit through scripture and song, silence and prayer. We gather, each week, eager for inspiration, connection and commissioning in Christ’s name. Whether it is through a powerful word or grace-filled music, everything in our worship is aimed toward the ultimate goal of praising God and sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ in word and in deed.

Each week, we worship together on Sunday morning at 10:30 am.

During the season of Lent, special opportunities for prayer and spiritual growth are offered. During Advent, we worship together through special music offerings, Christmas pageants, and candlelight services. Each fall, we offer a Blessing of the Animals. During times of violence and crisis, we gather to worship God through tears and prayer. And sometimes, we’ve been known to flip service on its head, making our Worship Service into Service Worship, where we worship through mission projects around town.
